Catastrophic injuries are serious, long term (permanent), disabling and life-altering both for the individual and his/her family. They include traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, paraplegia, quadriplegia, amputations and severe fractures. Extensive medical and rehabilitation is required due to the debilitating nature of the injuries. Funding for proper therapy is expensive and often required long term.

We have extensive experience in supporting individuals who have suffered catastrophic injuries. From the onset, we ensure that the insurance company (ICBC or out of province insurer) is providing the necessary funding for rehabilitation and that the proper medical team is in place to understand the nature and extent of the catastrophic injury, functional impairments and future treatment needs from a medical legal perspective.
